To install your Sailshade, insert the enclosed 2" screws through the holes provided in your ready-to-fit wooden headboard. (You may wish to drill starter holes. Again through the holes provided, use a 1/8" diameter drill to drill the starter holes.)


If your Sailshade is Type A, Above, you will be attaching
the headboard to the wall, with the screws entering horizonally
this time. If your Type A curtain is being mounted above
the window into plaster (and not above the window into the
window frame), it is essential that the screws hit the wood behind the plaster. You may have to drill new 1/8" holes into the headboard, but usually the studs run perpendicular to the end of the window frame header. Consult a carpenter if you are unsure about this.
